General Donation Info
If you would like to donate to Liberty Thrift stores, please fill out the form on this page. Thank you for your support! Liberty Thrift is committed to responding to your inquiry within one week. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, or need immediate assistance, please contact 610-831-9856 to speak with a manager.
The truck driver reserves the right to decline/refuse acceptance of any and/or all donated items.
Liberty Thrift does not…
- Move furniture
- Decorate or redecorate the room or home
- Remove railings from walls
- Remove doors from hinges
Please have all items that you wish to donate in an accessible area. We recommend a garage, a front or back porch or a first floor. This will help expedite the pick-up and allow our men a safe access to the donated items.
Recycle: Please don’t fill the landfill with more stuff... recycle with Liberty Thrift & Home Furnishings! Liberty is currently accepting any and all used cell-phones as well as any and all used and new ink and laser cartridges. Every little bit helps! Please notify Brian Jones at 610-831-9856 if you would like to collect at your office or place of employment, donation bins can be made available.
Liberty Thrift does not accept:
- Computer monitors
- Computers more than 5yrs old
- Built-in dishwashers
- Trash compactors
- Built-in ovens
- Metal desks
- Skis, Poles and boots
- Plastic cups or glasses
- Single glasses
- Opened/used paint cans
- Custom made curtains, curtain rods
- Bed pillows
- Hospital or adjustable beds
- Encyclopedias & National Geographic
- Old floor console TV/stereos
- Typewriters, electric or manual
- Sofa or upholstery pieces that are ripped, stained, faded, have worn areas or holes
- Sewing machines and sewing tables more that 5 years old
- Rusty, warped, worn out pots and pans
- Combustible items-kerosene, gasoline, propane
- Washers, dryers, refrigerators, and other large appliances more than 10 yrs old
- Bicycles that are not in good operating condition
- Bowling Balls
- Exercise equipment
- Electrical or battery-operated items that are not in excellent operating condition
- Microwaves that are not in good condition
- Gas grills that are not in good condition
- Clothing that is ripped, stained, musty or in need of repair
- Car seats more than 5 yrs old or expired
- Box spring without mattress or box spring alone
